Register for the 2026 Choral Celebration

On Friday 16 October St Andrew's Cathedral Choir and Excelsia University College are joining forces, along with choirs from the 2026 Excelsia International Christian Choral Celebration, to sing the extraordinary choral version of Gavin Bryars's classic piece, Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet, and a new work by Excelsia's William Byrd Fellow and founder-director of TONUS AUSTRALIS, Antony Pitts. Bryars's work was premiered and recorded by The Song Company, along with choirs and singers from around Australia – the University Of Western Australia Conservatorium Of Music, The Oriana Chorale from Canberra, the Choir of Trinity College, Melbourne, and Sydney Conservatorium High School and Sydney Philharmonia VOX. Now, five years on, it's a chance for you to lend your voice and take part in a unique presentation of Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet in St Andrew's Cathedral, and to be part of the premiere of Eternity (Part 1), inspired by Arthur Stace.
